HALF-DAY TOURS

A) Classic Grand Tour of Milano (morning or afternoon)

We offer you a half-day bus tour including visits to the Cathedral, the Sforzesco Castle grounds, the opera house museum and the Last Supper – if available when you book.

If admission to the Last Supper is not available, we offer a visit to Michelangelo’s “Pietà Rondanini” in the Sforzesco Castle Ancient Art Museum instead.

B) Brera Art Gallery – Walking Tour

The Pinacoteca di Brera is one Italy’s most important museums, given its prestigious collections of ancient and modern painting with famous masterpieces by Piero della Francesca, Mantegna, Raffaello, Caravaggio and many others.

Walking tour in the artist’s quarter of the same name, full of hidden courtyards, art galleries and literary cafés.
During the tour you will also see the San Marco’s Church.

C) Museum of  the 900s - walking tour

A tour entirely devoted to visiting the Museo del Novecento, in the magnificent Arengario building that houses some of the most important masterpieces of the nineteenth century.
A professional guide will show you the fundamental steps in twentieth-century-art, a period rich in change and innovations. The museum hosts about 400 works of art from different artistic movements during the previous century, from Futurism to Metaphysics, to Poor Art. The exhibition area includes three rooms dedicated to De Chirico, Fontana and Morandi. At the museum entrance, visitors are welcomed by the impressive “Quarto Stato” canvas by Pellizza da Volpedo.

11:00 meet guide at the entrance to the “Museo del Novecento” (Via Marconi 1 – Duomo square).
Visit of the museum’s masterpieces
End of the tour at about 13:00.

D) Milano by Night

An exciting evening tour to admire the illuminated city and experience  the Milanese ritual of happy hour: an aperitif or cocktail accompanied by a substantial buffet with appetizers and tastes of pasta or pizza.
In perfect harmony with most innovative trends from the international scene, Milano was the first city in Italy to adopt the culture of happy hour.

Programme

20:00	departure from Zani Viaggi (Foro Bonaparte 76) by bus
	Tour through the main monuments and the city’s most popular night-life area, with a stop for happy hour.
22:30	end of the tour at the Navigli district, where customers can get off and return on their own or return by bus to their hotels in Milan or nearby

FULL DAY TOURS

 

E) Milano Tour

A unique opportunity to visit all the best of Milano in only one day! The Duomo Cathedral, La Scala Opera House and Brera Art Gallery are only some of the most famous Milanese sites that play leading roles in this unmissable tour.

Departure at 9:00 from your hotel in Milan and a half-day tour including visits to the Duomo, the Opera House Museum, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the Sforzesco Castle grounds and the Last Supper – if available when you book. If admission to the Last Supper is not available, as an alternative we offer a visit to Michelangelo’s “Pietà Rondanini” in the Sforzesco Castle Ancient Art Museum. End of guided service in the morning.

Free time for lunch (NOT INCLUDED) and individual touring.

In the afternoon: guided tour in the Brera district and visit to Brera Art Gallery (2 hours and 30 minutes) – end of the guided service.
At 18:00 return to hotel by bus.

F) Lake of Como

Full day excursion to Como, a city world famous for silk! Between its old medieval walls lie delightful corners and precious monuments.
One of the best places from which to admire the city and the lake is the picturesque village of Brunate, at an altitude of 500 metres high that can be reached in a few minutes by funicular from Como railway station.

Programme:

09:00	departure from Milan by bus.
10:00	arrival at Como, walking tour in the city centre and ascent to Brunate by funicular.
	Free time for lunch
	In the afternoon, boat cruise on the lake and free time for shopping in Como city centre.
17:00	departure for the return trip to Milan.

G) Lake Maggiore and Borromeo Islands

Lake Maggiore, guardian of the Borromeo family’s wealth and cultural heritage, is still witness to its prestige. A cruise on the lake will lead you to discover the famous Borromeo Islands: “Isola Madre”, “Isola dei Pescatori”, and “Isola Bella”, where you can visit the magnificent baroque palace with the Italian gardens that host rare exotic plants.

Programme:

8:00	departure from Milan by bus and arrival at Stresa.
	Visit to Stresa with a cruise on the lake and visit of the of Borromeo Islands, sailing around Isola Madre, and stopping on Isola dei Pescatori (time for lunch, not included) and on Isola Bella to visit the Borromean Palace and gardens.
	Return to Stresa.
17:00	departure from Stresa for the return trip.

H) Verona and Garda Lake

Verona, second only to Rome for its Roman antiquities, the city of Shakespeare, and Sirmione, a small village on the lake shore with a beautiful view, will be the stars of this excursion!

Programme:

7:30	departure from Milan by bus.
	Arrival at Verona and walking tour in the city centre, free time for lunch (not included)
	Transportation to Sirmione by bus.
	Visit to the small medieval village and free time.
17:00	departure for the return trip to Milan.
