EFLM-Labs Are Vital Award for Excellence in Outcomes Research in Laboratory Medicine

This award honours an individual member of an EFLM national society who has made unique contributions to promoting and understanding clinical chemistry throughout Europe.

The nominee’s role in promoting clinical chemistry on a European basis or his/her contributions should be well known and demonstrated by measurable output, e.g., scientific or clinical achievements, policy creation, or quality initiatives.

This award is given to the best published paper, as judged by an independent panel of experts, that demonstrates an improvement in (clinical and/or economic) outcome  due to the application or the improved employment of a laboratory test.
